Kingdom Minded People
The Entire Early Church was Apostolic… It was Kingdom Minded!
We must have a militant mindset to “fight the good fight” and “run the race with patience” knowing that God will “work all things for good” as we continually trust and praise Him.
The Early Church believed in the Genesis Mandate
Genesis 1:26-28 “…God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.”
The Early Church also knew that they were supposed to fulfill The Great Commission
Matthew 28:18-20 “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, as you go, disciple all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to obey all that I have commanded you.’
They realized that they are “commissioned” and they had sense of purpose and destiny!
Therefore, The Early Church was not “Passive” about sharing their faith! They wanted to reach lost souls and save them from an eternity of hell!
And The Early Church did not “forsake the assembling of the saints”.
We can never walk in the anointing Jesus died to give us and our lives and our families lives are negatively affected when people forsake the Church.
But in today’s Church we have a problem…
There are many people who are calling themselves “Apostles” but they don’t really understand the Apostolic Mindset… They just like the “importance” of the Title!
I call them: “Ox Cart Apostles”
And, the question I want to ask them is:
“Are You truly Apostolic or did you just change your Name Badge?”
